International scientific conference «Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS): Life Science and Technologies»

On the 4th of May the Network of Aquaculture Centres in Central and Eastern Europe (NACEE) held an international scientific conference «Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS): Life Science and Technologies». The conference was hosted by the Daugavpils University (Latvia).

Representatives of 10 countries participated in the conference: Belarus, Estonia, Hungary, Kazakhstan,  Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Russia, Ukraine. 17 presentations were made, covering such topics as new technologies for sustainable aquaculture, commercial outdoor RAS, intensive sturgeon and salmon culture,  new species rearing and others.
